Get more out of life with ‘My Life’

January 18, 2018

My Life CIC is about to launch a new venture to provide meaningful, inclusive day time opportunities for people of all ages and all abilities.

The new venture will be located at Thompson House Farm in Standish, Wigan, and is expected to attract people all over the country, not just the North West. Thompson House is a newly built eco-farm and equine centre spanning more than 80 acres of beautiful farmland. It offers fully accessible washing and changing facilities, purpose built respite accommodation, accessible fishing and a bespoke training facility.

Further information can be found on the My Life website below together with the programme of available activities, which include: dance, cookery and music classes, orienteering and bush-craft skills, laughter yoga, art classes, team building exercises, plus much more.

My Life's philosophy is to encourage and inspire individuals of any age and ability through an innovative approach to learning and discovery. Children, young people and adults will be offered regular workshops to achieve and develop confidence through hands-on learning, either in a group setting or an individual basis.

A 'Community Choir' challenge has also been set to mark the launch on September 6. My Life is aiming to break the world record for the biggest choir and will be singing three songs.
