While we're busy working on our Making the Future - Together paper, we thought we'd give you a little reminder of the energy and passion on the day...

More than 200 people from all areas of the health, social care and education sectors, as well as provider organisations, community groups, and 'experts by experience' gathered at the event in April to share ideas, plan action and build alliances for a future of inclusion and independent living.

The day was full of energy and lots of ideas on how to take this agenda forward. Take a look at our slideshow summarising the day.

We are working on pulling together all of the ideas and suggested action (there were a lot!) and will be publishing a paper in September that we hope will be a platform for action and positive change.
